Description
Singular Verdejo. Malcorta is an almost extinct Verdejo grape that has now been rescued by Javier Sanz who, after years of research, has created a unique wine.
The difficulty of its harvest, hence its name “malcorta”, condemned it to oblivion but its lethargy has come to an end.
Tasting notes
Tasting notes: Malcorta is a surprising wine in nuances, floral, citric, with a pleasant natural acidity and a marked persistence. Bright pale straw yellow color. On the nose, it shows very clean and intense aromas. Aromas of citrus, white flowers, stone fruits, with soft mineral notes. In the mouth, it stands out for its marked acidity, which accentuates its fresh and lively character. Its lively character and freshness combine perfectly with seafood, shellfish, white-fleshed fish such as hake, cod or sole, grilled or baked.
