Description

Javier Sanz Fermentado en Barrica is a Verdejo wine made exclusively from a careful selection of Verdejo grapes from our estate Fuente de los Vaqueros in La Seca. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where it remains for a period of six months. It is then bottled for at least another 12 months.

Tasting notes

Tasting notes: The nose is elegant and complex, with varietal aromas of hay and ripe fruit and toasted memories of the French oak barrel in which it rests for about six months. In the mouth it is ample, tasty and very persistent.

Recommendation and Pairing

It is recommended to serve between 8 and 10ºC, accompanying seafood, seafood rice, grilled and baked fish, smoked meats, foie gras, fresh cheese, omelettes…
