Our wine culture
Five generations of winegrowers, who for more than 150 years
have continued the tradition
We fuse decades of tradition with modern, sustainable techniques to bring you unique and authentic wines. Our passion for wine has been passed down through five generations, and today we remain committed to the preservation of our valuable wine heritage.
Our philosophy is based on the conservation of pre-phylloxera vineyards (more than 150 years old), native varieties and the recovery of almost extinct varieties.
Commitment to sustainability
We firmly believe in the importance of sustainable viticulture that respects the environment.
We prioritise the quality of our grapes over quantity, applying a rigorous control at every stage of the at every stage of the process.

Viticulture
Meticulous and rigorous work in the field to obtain the best quality grapes, faithful to the philosophy of Javier Sanz Viticultor: to intervene as little as possible in the winemaking process.

Vineyards
Javier Sanz Viticultor owns 104 hectares of vineyards, which allows him to control the entire development of the plants.

Our treasure
Amongst these vineyards we find true treasures of viticulture such as the pre-phylloxera vineyard of El Pago de Saltamontes.

Authenticity and quality in every drop
We are proud of our roots in the Rueda Denomination of Origin, where we cultivate pre-phylloxera vineyards and indigenous varieties. Our vineyards, which cover more than 104 hectares, are home to true treasures such as the pre-phylloxera vineyard of El Pago de Saltamontes

Territory and tradition as protagonists.
Territory and tradition as protagonists. The freshness, complexity and balance of our wines are the result of the richness of our territory, the dedication of our winery and the family tradition that defines us. Our links with the Rueda Designation of Origin and the Rueda Wine Route allow us to continue exploring and sharing the unique character of our land and its wines.
