Collection V

Colección V is Javier Sanz’s encounter with a history of the past and innovation. With this work, he rescues four wines created after a long process of research and intuition. Four surprising varieties that come from excellent, mysterious and unique vines.

A traditional winemaking process that brings together the best quality grapes and experimentation to obtain a brilliant result. The perfect opportunity to discover the author’s love for wine through his intuition.

Malcorta

Singular Verdejo

LA MALCORTA

It is an almost extinct Verdejo grape that has now been rescued by Javier Sanz who, after years of research, has created a unique wine. The difficulty of its harvest, hence its name “malcorta”, condemned it to oblivion, but its lethargy has come to an end.

la cata

V Malcorta is a surprising wine in nuances, floral, citric, with a pleasant natural acidity and a marked persistence.

The true encounter between the personality of the author and his work.

WINTER SWEET

Vendimia tardía

GOOLOUS AND UNIQUE

VDulce de Invierno is a sweet and unique wine, the result of the crossbreeding between the Verdejo grape and the Moldavian gorda grape. Its sweetness and amber tones are the result of three phases of complex winemaking.

ELABORATION

The freezing of the grapes, the natural drying in a shady area and the late harvest. After this arduous gestation, it rests for four months in French oak barrels.

Javier Sanz’s particular way of understanding viticulture through his wines.

COLORADO

This unique red wine is born from it; it stands out for its originality, surprising personality on the nose and great persistence on the palate.
